Very few corporations have the combination of manufacturing technology and engineering skillset to create their products, and they have established their stake as a go-to supplier for their customer base. As a result, they are here for decades to come. Currently, they are looking for talented technical employees to join their team, including as a Manufacturing Engineer.
Duties of the Manufacturing Engineer:
Develop SOPs, process layouts, and routings for manufacturing and assembly processes
Investigate issues related to manufacturing process problems and finished product failures and implement corrective actions
Developing tooling and equipment to meet product manufacturing and assembly needs
Work with customers and other departments to determine product failure causes related to manufacturing processes and assembly
Work with production employees to resolve process and assembly issues
Implement continuous improvement methods aimed at improving processes and quality
Work to resolve other project and process targets
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer:
A BS in Engineering
Previous experience as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar; ideally with assembly processes
Proven experience developing processes and implement continuous improvement
Experience with developing tooling and/or fixtures
