Our client is a leading, global company that was founded almost 75 years ago and continues to grow. They are known for their production and recycling capabilities and have recently completed a multi-million dollar expansion. They offer stability, competitive salaries, benefits and more! They are in need of a Production Manager to join their team. This is a first shift position.
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
Coaching, training and mentoring employees
Leading and maintaining a safe and environmentally compliant workplace (OSHA and EPA)
Implementing and leading continuous improvements
Ensuring and improving quality
Optimizing production
Developing, tracking and reporting KPIs
Maintaining a positive workplace
To be considered for the Production Manager position you must have:
A BS degree. Engineering is highly preferred (Chemical, Metallurgical, Industrial or Mechanical)
At least 7 years of previous production management experience in heavy manufacturing (steel or foundry) or chemical
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in EPA and OSHA regulations
Key skills: Leadership, Safety, Management
