Our client is an automotive supplier and they are looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. They have been in business since the late 1950’s and have been successful ever since. This is a direct hire role where you will have the ability to make an immediate impact. The current opening is for a Quality Manager. Main duties include:
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System
- Oversee and direct the work of up to 7 direct reports in the department
- Handle non-conformances
- Audit implementation
- Work directly with customer regarding quality issues
- Coordinate document control activities
- Review and approve PPAP documentation prior to submission
Qualifications include:
- B.S. in engineering is preferred, or a minimum of 5+ years in a related field
- Prior work experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of metals manufacturing, machining, or similar is helpful
- Prior work experience with IATF 16949
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
