A LinkedIn contributor who is the President and COO of Colliers International recently looked into how the millennials are redefining leadership in an insightful article.

1.  Recent surveys show that there is a strong interest among millennials to lead
2. Deloitte’s 2015 survey shows that 50 percent of millennial respondents hoped to lead their current company and 60 percent hope to make it to the leadership team
3. Millennials, according to Deloitte’s survey, feel that the top traits of true leaders are the following… ability to inspire, have vision, be decisive, and have passion
4. It is clear from Virtuali’s 2014 studies that millennials care about greatly communication and relationship building
5. Millennials value the opportunity to be truly global and would like to the chance to work internationally
