We are all busy. Time seems to slip away from us often. What can we do to stop time? Nothing. We cannot stop time. Unfortunately, we are not magicians. But, we can practice certain habits each and every day to help us accomplish our goals in a shorter amount of time.   1. Reflect – take time to reflect and re-focus your efforts – this can actually lead to better time-management. Take time to close your eyes and think about what you want to accomplish and this can actually help you accomplish whatever it is you want!
  2. Delegate – you cannot do it all. That is a simple idea, but delegating is key to success. You can only do so much. Reach out to your team and make sure you are getting the necessary assistance in team efforts and projects. Do not take everything on at once without delegating and working with your team.
  3. Check things off the list – making lists might seem silly but the process of making a list alone can help you accomplish your goals quicker and more efficiently and you can take on your tasks one-by-one. The process of checking things off your list will give you positive energy and you will feel more accomplished and this will lead you to accomplish the rest of your tasks; this boosts productivity.
  4. Get away from what you are doing – take time to do what you enjoy when you are not working. Go for a run, watch a new film, cook dinner for your friends – just doing an activity other than your work can help give you a break to clear your head and when you jump back into your work, you will be more focused and you will complete more tasks.
