Our client is a top manufacturer that supplies a number of industries. They offer excellent benefits with little to no deductible, generous paid time off, bonus, great 401K match and more. Due to retirement, they are in need of a Solutions Engineer to join their team.
As Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Being the liaison between inside and outside sales
- Preparing quotes and cost estimates for customers
- Working with Design Engineers to ensure manufacturability of product
- Providing technical support as needed
- Providing product and process improvements
- Evaluating new technologies
- Conducting product testing
To be considered for the Solutions Engineer position you must have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, along with at least 2 years of applicable experience
- Previous quoting/cost analysis experience
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints
