Currently, due to promotion, our client is looking for a Production Manager with experience in a chemical manufacturing plant to join their facility in Tennessee.

Duties of the Chemical Manufacturing Production Manager:
- Leading and mentoring Supervisors and production employees
- Ensuring the efficient production of chemicals throughout all processes in the facility
- Ensuring safety and environmental standards are adhered to
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Improving SOPs and training for plant employees
- Ensuring the safe shutdown and start-up of processes
- Assisting with plant audits
- Monitoring KPIs and making adjustments to improve findings
- Working with maintenance to ensure the optimal performance on equipment and to fix breakdowns
Requirements of the Chemical Manufacturing Production Manager
- Previous management experience in a chemical production facility is necessary
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven experience leading a safe work culture
