Just last year the company moved into a brand-new Engineering and R&D Center. They are looking to hire an experienced Purchasing Manager, a position that is open due to internal promotion.
Main duties of the Purchasing Manager include:
- Lead a small team of Buyers. Develop and help grow their careers.
- Work closely with Project Managers to source components during new product development
- Work directly with customers to determine product needs
- Work closely with Quality to ensure sourced parts are meeting strict product regulations
- Identify new suppliers and negotiate costs/terms
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor`s degree in Business or Supply Chain
- Experience leading a team of Buyers
- Strong sourcing and negotiating experience
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
