They supply major automotive companies which leads to high demand and constant production. Our client is in need of a Supplier Quality Specialist to join their team.

As Supplier Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Being the key contact for the company to their parts suppliers
- Developing, establishing and maintaining relationships with those suppliers
- Ensuring suppliers meet Quality demands, new model trials and audits
- Working to resolve issues by determining root cause and determining solutions
- Participating in new model projects
- Evaluating and monitoring product to ensure it is meeting proper specifications using micrometers, calipers, gages, indicators, testers, etc.
- Reading and understanding blueprint specifications
- Recognizing areas for improvements; improving processes
To be considered for the Supplier Quality Specialist position you must have:
- A good understanding of quality in an automotive manufacturing facility
- Experience with/understanding of quality tools
- Experience with SPC and PPAP
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and computer skills
- A technical and professional mindset
