The current opening is for an MRO Buyer. Main duties include:
- Purchase and ensure delivery of materials, parts, and supplies to support plant operations and maintenance
- Perform research, quoting, pricing negotiations, and prepare purchase orders
- Develop and implement cost savings initiatives
- Assess supplier performance
- Oversee contracts and vendor managed agreements
Qualifications for the MRO Buyer include:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar function
- Strong background with Microsoft Office
- ERP experience, Oracle preferred
- Analytical, strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
