Main duties of the Process/Manufacturing Engineer include:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
- Use CI/Lean methods to aid in improving processes
- Responsible for all plant automation, including robotics, PLC systems, and vision systems.
- Identify and execute 5S opportunities and principles throughout the plant.
- Lead and document effective Kaizen events.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, method sheets, PFLOW's, and PFMEA's.
Qualifications include:
- BS degree in engineering strongly preferred
- Experience improving processes within a manufacturing facility
- Experience with continuous improvement and/or lean manufacturing
