Our client is a global manufacturing leader of products used by consumers everywhere. They believe in providing a work atmosphere that is challenging, united, diverse and can anticipate their customers' needs. They are in need of an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist to join their team.
As Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating daily EHS issues
- Maintaining OSHA and EPA compliance and conducting plant audits
- Completing accident investigations and reporting
- Training employees
- Ensuring plant safety
- Managing hazardous waste
- Maintaining any necessary documentation
To be considered for the Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist you must have:
A positive attitude
- and be a team player
- A four year degree and 3+ years of previous EHS experience in manufacturing is highly preferred, but experience will be considered
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT requirements
- Excellent communication skills
