As Buyer, you will be responsible for:
- Purchasing components to aid in manufacturing
- Reading and understanding drawings
- Issuing and tracking RFQ packets
- Sourcing and evaluating new vendors
- Negotiating costs
- Monitoring and auditing suppliers
- Assisting with budget development
- Resolving supplier issues
To be considered for the Buyer position, you must have:
- At least 2 years of previous purchasing/buying experience in a manufacturing facility. A degree and automotive manufacturing is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP is a plus
